AB&I Welcomes Group of Occupational Medicine Doctors from UCSF
July 21, 2014
Team AB&I were pleased to have the opportunity recently to host several Occupational Medicine Doctors from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). They have worked with Patty Quinlan at UCSF to coordinate these visits for several years. AB&I Environmental Manager Dave Robinson talked to them about the history of AB&I, the evolution of the Environmental program and how they protect team members, and the positive impact AB&I has had in the community. He also talked to them about the significant investment they have made to ensure complete compliance with regulations as well as best practices which go above and beyond what is required.
AB&I Safety Manager John Deseck also spoke with them about the safety and industrial hygiene programs as well as ergonomics. Mike Olvera and Dave Robinson provided a plant tour and were more than happy to answer any questions they had during their plant tour.
The visitors left the visit with a 9” cast iron skillet made right there at AB&I especially for visitors and lots of information directly related to what they are studying!
