Do you know what to do in the event of an emergency?
June 25, 2015

At McWane, we realize that you can never stop preparing for the unexpected. In order to be better prepared in the event of an emergency, Anaco, Clow Valve and the McWane Ductile Utah office located in Corona, California held emergency evacuation drills. This exercise was the perfect addition to EHS/HR Awareness events for the month of June.
Everyone did a good job and left orderly to group in their designated locations. Missing people were also identified for search and rescue, but they did lose one vendor when their contact did not go to find them for evacuation. That is why the drills are so important to show team members what can and does often happen in an evacuation. They will definitely remember that and work on it for next drill.
Whether it be tornadoes, earthquakes, thunderstorms or heavy flooding rains, we all know how quickly these things can happen. So to help team members prepare at home, they were all given an Emergency Preparedness Guide with the reminder to do it The McWane Way – Do It Safely or not at All at Work and at Home.
