In honor of Manufacturing week, Clow Valve hosted tours of the Machine Shop and Metal Casting Facility on Friday, October 5th. Throughout the course of the day, nearly 60 students and educators from area high schools toured the plants, learning more about Clow Valve operations, as well as career opportunities in advanced manufacturing.
Tours were led by John Grahek (Plant Manager, Metal Casting Facility), Chris Prendergast (Assistant Plant Manager, Metal Casting Facility), Ed Murphy (Machine Shop Superintendent) and Bob Bateson (NC Programmer, Machine Shop). Clow Valve partnered with Indian Hills Community College for this event which we hope will educate students and the next generation of manufacturers about the endless opportunities offered in the manufacturing field.
